The Neighbor: A Nine Little Hauntings Exclusive

✨ Nine Little Hauntings ✨
A series from The Hollow—brief encounters with the uncanny, where the ordinary twists and the quiet lingers a little too long.
“A window is just a stage. Who do you think is watching the play?”
Every evening, the light in the apartment across the street went on at exactly 11:03pm.
Never 11:00pm. Never 11:04pm. Always 11:03pm.
She thought it was creepy at first then reasoned it was on a timer. Yet she never saw anyone inside. Only a light shining in an empty room.
Until one night, she noticed the silhouette of someone moving past the window. She thought it was her imagination, but when she looked again, a figure stood framed in the window and waved at her.
The next day, she learned from her neighbors the apartment had been empty for years after the last occupant had been murdered.
They never found the culprit.
The window closes. The Hollow quiets—for now. Thank you for walking these nine steps into the dark with me.
