March in review with April goals

One of the things that I love about Google is getting a monthly snapshot of the prior month's activity. If you recieve these in your email, then you know what I'm talking about. I absolutely love it when biking season hits and I'm able to begin seeing progress.

That being said, 99 miles in a month is nothing considering I have done that in one day during the 2019 charity ride to D.C. But after a long winter (even if it was mild) it's nice to stretch the legs, hop on the bike, and start putting miles back on the trail.

This month has started slow but life has a tendency to get in the way sometimes. It's hard to imagine a week & a half has already flown by in April & I haven't had much time to ride. I'm still in training mode though and am gearing up for this year's one day charity ride for the Veterans sponsored by VLP. Five days ago I registered, set my modest goal, & exceeded it in one day! Everyone's generosity has really warmed my heart and I cannot express how much your support means to me. ❤

I will continue to take donations for the ride up until the day before in July. In 2019 I raised well over $700 for the 5 day trip and believe this year we can get close to it again.

In other news, I am still working on my book about my experiences on the 2019 trip and hope to have that available soon. There are so many photographs and I really want to present them in a manner that is enjoyable to view without feeling cluttered. I will post more on my progress later!

Thank you to everyone who has donated and thank you in advance to those who will in the future!
