The end of the year is nearly upon us. I swear as I get older the years become shorter. But they also say that time flies when you're having fun. I would wager time is fluid and changes based upon your current perception.
This one ends with minimal accomplished painting wise. I can't say that I am entirely disappointed. If you recall prior posts, my painting is evolving and I am still in a state of stasis as I determine more of what I wish to accomplish. I am still having fun with the paint pours and completed more in my boudoir collection. There are currently four available to purchase as prints and other miscellaneous products through Society6. Clicking on the links will take you to my store there to see what's available.
Speaking of stores, I have just linked my store to my Facebook business page so if you follow me there, you may have already noticed. If not, please make sure that you do. I am trying to streamline a lot more and make things easier for people to find me.
The last six months of the year I primarily dedicated to my writing. With all of the shows and competitions for my art, combined with my full time job, my writing really went to the wayside. And it is equal in my heart to my painting and I desperately needed to rectify that. When Amazon announced their new platform, Kindle Vella, I knew it was a perfect opportunity and I jumped on it.
If you follow my blog, I'm sure you'll remember me speaking about the new format. It was a struggle to fit writing beck into my schedule, but one I was happy to do! Currently, I have one completed story available to read, The Witching. I am in the process of writing/publishing a second Vella story, Pandora's Legacy.
What's in store for 2022?
Hopefully many more Vella stories. I am also world building for a fantasy series. This will take me awhile to do which is also why I am publishing my serial novels so that there is something for my followers to read while they wait. I also plan to convert more of my Jennifer Brinkle books into my author name Jen Sequel. I'm not in a rush on those so I have no deadline in mind.
For my art, I am hoping to devote more time to my Artemis painting. I also have a new ACEO gown series on the drawing board. Expect more in my boudoir series with a few paint pours scattered in as stress relievers. After that, I still have a number of projects on my board and I may select one at random. Flexibility is key.
