Many years ago I began the trend of looking at each year as an opportunity for revolution. I'm not quite certain I have followed suit the past few years. This year I mean to revisit and maintain this mindset.
By definition, a revolution is a dramatic and wide-reaching change in the way something works or is organized or in people's ideas about it. This is something I plan to do within 2023 in my personal life, and in my creative life. I truly hope you stick around to see how this all pans out.
I have already begun an aggressive writing strategy for the new year. I am not certain if it will be sustainable. But, as the saying goes, "nothing ventured, nothing gained." I will also be updating my portfolio for my art in 2023. I plan to post a lot more of my older art in my store in an effort to clean out my inventory at home. Photography is not my strong suit and the lighting is not the best in my home, but I am dedicated to giving it my all in presenting the closest representation of my art for my site. (Many clients can attest that my art always looks much better in person.)
In closing, I want to thank you for being a part of my journey. I am not certain where I will wind up, but I can promise it will not be the same. Oh, if only you could see what I see...nothing but blue sky...
